This game is about space opera lived large in cinematic scope, where the players can act out epic tales or participate in smaller scale scenarios. They can be humans, wolves or aliens, all finding their way in a complex universe filled with change and intrigue. They can be merchants negotiating deals or trafficking cargo or they can be a velociraptor-like alien dealing with climate change on their home planet.

Wolves prowl the known galaxy in gleaming starships. They are merchants. They are warriors. In their numerous fleets, they trade and they compete, clan versus clan, for wealth and glory. In times of war, they band together to fight. In times of peace, they care about kin.  They call themselves homo sapiens lupus.  Wolf and human. Patterned after Asian clans, they are loyal to family name and devoted to blood kin. They are the Lang people, proud of their heritage and power.

They share the galaxy uneasily with two other major alien races. The raptor-like shishini cause fear and terror in their fast ships. They are pirates and mercenaries, ferocious in their appetites. Yet, like the wolves, they form tight-knit claws led by experienced matriarchs. The jukka are an enigma and they like to preserve that air of mystery about them. Masters of technology and known to meddle in the affairs of other races, they shimmer in and out in their vast motherships. They lurk at the outskirts of the galaxy. Nobody likes the jukka. Jukka is trouble.

In this role-playing game, you can play a Lang, a shishini, a jukka or a human. You can play a purely Lang-based story or you can have a mixed group of traders or mercenaries charged to find a valuable good, because this is a galaxy that thrives on trade... of all kinds. Likewise, you can also play a narrative-based story where your crew are tasked to solve an issue like climate change/crisis on a planet.
